Location: Dumont, King County, Texas, 33°49' North, 100°31' West (plus or minus)
Found: 1994, identified 2004
Type: Ataxite IVB Iron.
Description: This meteorite has been analyzed, but we do not have the full data set nor has it been voted on by the Nomenclature committee of the Meteoritical Society yet. I understand it was found by a rancher who kept it a while before submitting it for analysis. UCLA did the analysis and reports It is a IVB with 29 microg/g Ir. This makes it similar to Tlacotepec, Iquique and Cape of Good Hope
This is a consignment item.
